Using technology for the WattStation
Smart-grid technology is used with the WattStation charging unit. Smart grid tech uses a two-way digital control that delivers additional energy to areas with very high demand. Transmission lines that are superconductive help the wise grid pull energy to help the battery charge faster.
WattStation – is it really going to work?
A battery could be charged in four to eight hours with WattStation as outlined by General Electric. Generally twelve to eighteen hours are required to charge an electric car. Although the time is slowly being reduced, electric car batteries nevertheless take twelve hours at the very least to charge.
